After the Reserves and Circulation Departments were merged into a single department in the Summer of 2010 and relocated to the Lower Level, the Media Collection and Microforms remained on the third floor as a separate unit.
Services
- Media Collection materials may be borrowed, or used at viewing or listening stations in our media facilities.
- Microforms may be paged ahead of time. They are delivered to the third floor. Viewing machines are available that allow you to print out copies or create scans that can be saved to peripheral devices or emailed.
- Monument and Werfel music scores are shelved on that floor and can be checked out for a limited period of time.
Faculty members may use our Request Forms to place materials on course and electronic reserve, and to schedule UMass Amherst and Four College videos and DVDs for classroom use.
Faculty should call Academic Instructional Media Services (AIMS) at (413) 545-5765 to request audio-visual equipment for a classroom or arrange an auditorium setup.
