LIBRARY ACQUIRES RESEARCH TOOLS
Amherst, MA - The UMass Amherst Libraries now provides access to the following databases and electronic resources, which can be found at www.library.umass.edu/. Some databases now offer MP3 downloads for full text articles. These and many other resources are available to users anywhere with an OIT account and to all walk-in users.
Video
Counseling and Therapy in Video is comprised of videos of counseling sessions and demonstrations; consultations; lectures, presentations, and interviews for the study of social work, psychotherapy, psychology, and psychiatric counseling.
Films on Demand is a collection of educational movies and early 20th century newsreels. Faculty can create playlists and link individual videos to their SPARK pages.
Reference
Simply Map is a tool for creating professional-quality maps and reports illustrating hundreds of social, economic, and climatic variables.
Scholarships, Fellowships, and Loans is a guide to financial aid provided by private organizations and companies, covering a variety of programs in all educational areas.
