Academic Sites

Genetics Home Reference is the National Library of Medicine's web site for consumer information about genetic conditions and the genes responsible for those condistions.
Health Finder provides information on health related topics by gender, age, race, ethnicity, prevention/wellness, diseases/conditions and alternative medicine. Includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, and directory of organizations.
National Institute on Deafness and other Communication Disorders includes health information, research and news.
Web Resources on Communication Disorders is produced by the Virginia School of Education and includes many academic sites.
