Databases differ in the features they offer. You will discover these through use.

Tips:

• Use all of the help resources available in any database.
• When you have a topic, try subject searches first. Subject searches use controlled vocabulary.
• If subject searches don't work, try a keyword search.

Please Note: a Library Catalog search will not give you journal articles. It will only tell you if we subscribe to a journal, not what articles are contained in the journal, as an index will do.
