Identifying Books in the Catalog

To find books, videos and other materials in the campus libraries, search the Library Catalog.

You have several options for searching: Author, Title, Journal Title, Subject (1), Keyword (2) Online or other.

Subject Search

Try a Subject Search first. If you have a phrase or a specific term which is within the controlled vocabulary, a subject search is usually more focused than a keyword approach.

If you type "terrorism" for a search term...

subject search - terrorism

...you will retrieve over 1900 (1) entries. To reduce the number of results, choose a subvision (2) or limit (3) by years or other terms.
