Cafe in Du Bois Library at UMASS AMHERST

Now Open for Business 

     The cafe in the Du Bois Library lobby is now open for business. The cafe serves Rao's coffee and a tasty selection of baked goods and other beverages. Soups and salads will be offered in the near future. The cafe is staffed by campus Auxiliary Services, with the Library and Auxiliary Services sharing all proceeds.

     Library proceeds will fund the purchase of new chairs and other facilities improvements throughout the Library. The renovation of the Du Bois Library lobby will continue, as new cafe furniture, service desks, and the relocation of the new books collection are expected shortly.

     The new cafe needs a name. Customers are invited to submit ideas at the suggestion box on the counter.
