UMASS AMHERST LIBRARY EXTENDS HOURS FOR FINALS

The W.E.B. Du Bois Library will begin its extended hours schedule on Monday, December 8.

The Library hours follow.

Monday - Friday (12/8 - 12/12) 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.
Saturday - Sunday (12/13 - 12/14) 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.
Monday - Thursday (12/15 - 12/18) 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.
Friday (12/19) 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday (12/20) 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon

The campus Safety Escort Service is available 7:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. every night during the academic year. Call 545-2123 to request a walking escort. Student security supervisors and UMass police cadets serve as escorts.

A recorded message of hours for all UMass Amherst Libraries is available at 545-0414. The added hours are intended to provide students with additional study space during the last week of classes, reading period, and finals. No staffed services will be provided during the added hours of midnight to 2:00 a.m.
