The Research and Instructional Services Department provides teaching and research support for the UMass Amherst community. Located on the Lower Level of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, the department with its staff of professional and paraprofessional reference librarians offers a variety of services to facilitate and support the use of the Library's collections and resources. Reference librarians manage the print and online reference collection.
