Find Articles

I need to look for articles on a topic. I know the article I want— now I need to get it. I’m looking for a particular journal, magazine, or newspaper.
  1. Go to the Research Databases page.
  2. Choose a subject from the list that matches your topic.
  3. You’ll see a list of recommended databases for each subject.
  4. Search one or more databases to find articles on your topic.

 Go to Research Databases

  1. Use the Citation Linker
  2. Type in all the information that you know about your article.
  3. The Citation Linker will get you as close as possible to the full text of your article—either online, in print, or through other library catalogs.

Go to Citation Linker
  1. Try Find e-Journal to see if your publication is available online through the Libraries
  1. If publication is not online, search Five College Libraries Catalog to see if a print copy is available in the UMass Libraries.
  1. If the Libraries do not own your publication, fill out the form at Interlibrary Loan: Request a Copy, and we will get you a copy of the article from a library that has it – free!
