Welcome to RefWorks at UMass Amherst Library
About RefWorks: RefWorks is a citation management software program, paid for by the UMass Amherst Library, that the UMass Amherst community can access from the Library website. RefWorks collects, stores, and organizes citations from books, articles from databases, web sites, and other sources. RefWorks automatically converts citations into properly formatted bibliographies. A multitude of citation styles are offered, from the more popular -- MLA, APA, Chicago -- to the more specialized --American Anthropological Association, IEEE, and more! RefWorks can also import citations from other bibliography programs such as Endnote and Reference Manager.
All undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and university staff may set up their own accounts.
Important Notice: When logging into RefWorks from off-campus users may get a security certificate warning stating "the name on security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site."
