Welcome to the Peace Studies Guide Scope: This page offers approaches to research in Peace Studies at the UMass Amherst Libraries and on the World Wide Web. It was created in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 tragedies at the World Trade Center and Pentagon. It is not meant to be a comprehensive research guide to Peace Studies, but rather a starting point. The Quick Links take you directly to journal articles and lists of books, government documents, and other materials in the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, as well as websites for Peace Studies research. The list of Sources for Further Research provides links of resources available through the UMass Amherst Libraries for more in-depth, focussed research in Peace Studies. Note: Some links and resources are only accessible at the UMass Amherst Libraries or to users with a UMAccess account. If you have questions about accessing specific resources, please ask a reference librarian. Quick
