Scanning & Faxing
The W.E.B. Du Bois Library offers four MDS touchscreen scanners which have book edges to make scanning bound materials easier. Scanner workstations are located along the brick columns between the stairwells, adjacent to the Public Access Computers, and next to the black and white copiers on the Lower Level. People using the scanners have priority at scanner workstations.
The Science and Engineering Library has a PlusTek OpticBook 3600 scanner on the Main Floor. People using the scanner have priority at scanner workstation.
Public Fax Machine
The W.E.B. Du Bois Library offers the use of a FAX24 fax machine and service, which is located outside the Microforms room on the Lower Level. Follow the instructions posted on the machine. The machine takes up to 8 pages of letter/legal sized paper. Sending a FAX requires a credit card or other card with a Visa or MasterCard logo on it.
This Fax machine does not receive faxes.
