Information Literacy in the Graduate Curriculum
Librarians are committed to ensuring that graduate students develop the information literacy skills they need to succeed both in their graduate degree programs as well as in their future academic or professional careers. The Libraries support the curricular needs of graduate students through the following activities:
- Early training and orientation to advanced library resources
- Course-specific library instruction throughout their coursework
- Support for master theses and doctoral dissertations
- Workshops and individual support for: the campus-wide citation management system (RefWorks), subject-specific citation databases and refining research strategies
