Materials kept in the Lab are specific recordings, scores, books and videos assigned for Music and Music Education courses. There is also a core collection of reference materials.

Hours
Open only during the Fall and Spring semesters:
Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday: closed
Sunday: 2 p.m.-9 p.m.

Closed during Winter and Summer sessions, except by appointment. Call the W.E.B. Du Bois Reserves at (413) 545-2358 to contact staff.

Collections
CDs, audiocassettes, LPs, videos and DVDs, and the Music Monument and Werfel music score collections are in the Reserves/Media Department on Floor 3 of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library. A larger collection of scores and books about music is located on Floor 21 of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library.

Submitting Reserve Requests
Faculty may place materials on reserve in the Music Reserve Lab for course use during the Fall and Spring semesters. To submit a request, please use the online form: Reserve List: Books, Recordings, Personal Material.
