Teaching With Writing Consultations

Writing Center director Rebecca Lorimer Leonard will hold consultation hours weekly.
Tuesdays, 1pm-2pm in the Teaching Commons.
During consultation hours, instructors can drop in or make an appointment to discuss any aspect of teaching with writing: designing long or short writing assignments, sequencing assignments in a course, responding to student writing, running one-on-one writing conferences, leading peer review, or whatever is on your mind.Rebecca Lorimer Leonard is the director of the UMass Amherst Writing Center and an Assistant Professor in the English Department. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the program in composition and rhetoric at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and specializes in writing across the curriculum / writing in the disciplines, literacy studies, and multilingual writing.
Rebecca was the Assistant Director of the Writing Across the Curriculum program at University of Wisconsin-Madison and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in writing, rhetoric, and multilingual writing at UMass Amherst, University of Wisconsin-Madison, San Francisco State University, and Universidad Técnica de Machala in Ecuador.
