UMarmapmaker UMarmap is an inventory of historic maps held by the Department of Special Collections and University Archives. The bibliographic records are organized alphabetically by locality and date, with a few additional terms included for specific map genres (e.g. railroad maps, bicycle maps, birdseye views). Please bear with us while build UMarmap: the listing is currently incomplete and additional materials will be added as records become available. Atlases and many, but not all, of the historic maps are cataloged into the library's on-line catalog

A wide variety of other maps are housed within individual manuscript collections and may be located by consulting the on-line finding aids. The library's general Map Collection contains over 110,000 maps of mostly recent vintage.
