W.E.B. Du Bois

Before contributing to DuBoisopedia, please review the guidelines that govern the use of this site. By creating an account and adding content, you agree to adhere to the guidelines below.

  • Do not add content that is under copyright unless it is under your copyright or you have the permission of the copyright holder.
  • Include your sources for the content you edit or add in the “Credits” section found at the end of every article.
  • When citing from the Du Bois Papers, use the following citation method: [Item, date, series], W.E.B. Du Bois Papers (MS 312). Special Collections and University Archives, W.E.B. Du Bois Library, University of Massachusetts Amherst.
  • Preview your edits or contributions before saving them so you can review them for accuracy.
  • Avoid adding content that is based on your own personal views or unsubstantiated opinion. This site is reserved for articles based on interactions with the Du Bois Papers or on Du Bois scholarship.
  • If you discover content that you believe is inaccurate or offensive, contact the SCUA archivists.
  • Be respectful and courteous to all members of the DuBoisopedia community.
