
MAC football team, 1930sThe Department of Special Collections and University Archives is open to all researchers who demonstrate a need to use the unique resources under its care. Upon arrival, prospective researchers will be asked to register, providing name, institutional affiliation, and current address, and will be asked to present two forms of identification, at least one with a photograph.
Special Collections and University Archives provides photo-reproductions in reasonable amounts for scholarly use under the following conditions:
- The Department does not sell photocopies, photographs, or digital reproductions. Fees are assessed for services in identifying, copying, and transmitting duplicates. All copies are made by SCUA staff.
- The Department reserves the right to limit the number of photoduplicates in any order and may decline to make duplicates if the item is likely to be damaged in the process. Orders are limited to 400 copies per month, per researcher.
- Except for brief excerpts, the Department will not duplicate copyrighted material without the written permission of the copyright owner. Researchers assume sole responsibility for any infringement of copyright.
- Copies are prepared solely for the use of the researcher and may not be reproduced, published, broadcast, or placed in other repositories without the prior written permission of the Head of Special Collections and University Archives. See our information on permission to publish.
