Doric Alviani’s arrival at Massachusetts State College invigorated the arts and within two years of his arrival, resulted in the formation of a number of vocal groups. In about 1935, Alviani’s Massachusetts State College Glee Club made a series of recordings on 78 rpm disks of popular college songs.
