Electronic Books / E-BooksNetLibrary is an online full-text books service. Access from off-campus is restricted to UMass-Amherst students, faculty or staff with a UMAccess account. Please note that at this point although this e-book collection contains many good titles and is very convenient, it is no where near as extensive as the Library's print holdings. There are many topics for which no e-books exist at the present time. Click here to access NetLibrary or go to the Databases list from the library's webpage and then choose NetLibrary. You should see a search screen like the one below. Type your subject in the subject line, then click on search. (We typed "African American" as an example, but that would probably be too broad a subject for most purposes. It's best to type a more specific subject such as "African American Leadership" or "African American Art." You can also do a search by the title or author of the book.
