  • Biological Abstracts
  • CINAHL - good for nutrition topics and multicultural health
  • Expanded Academic Index ASAP (includes full text). Academic articles and some current events. Good starting point.
  • General Reference Center Gold (includes many full text). Popular and some academic articles from magazines and newspapers. Good for current events.
  • JSTOR (full text) Academic articles.
  • Lexis-Nexis - News section contains hundreds of newspapers from all over the world. Reference contains biographical information, country profiles, and the World Almanac. Good for current events.
  • PrimateLit - A bibliographic database for primatology. Includes all publication categories (articles, books, abstracts, technical reports, dissertations, book chapters, etc.) and many subject areas (behavior, colony management, ecology, reproduction, field studies, disease models, veterinary science, psychology, physiology, pharmacology, evolution, taxonomy, developmental and molecular biology, genetics and zoogeography).
  • Web of Science - Allows multidisciplinary searches combining arts, humanities, social science and science. Good for seeing who cited whom
