Use this guide to locate U.S. and international company reports. Most company reports focus on public companies. For private company research, information is available in journal databases. International Directory of Company Histories
Historical reports on 4,500 of the worlds' largest and most influential companies. Access: Part of the Business & Company Resource Center (BCRC). Go to BCRC, click Advanced Search. Select "Histories" from the drop-down menu.

ISI Emerging Markets
News, company and industry reports, macroeconomic statistics and forecasts from 60 emerging market countries in Asia, Latin America, and Central and Eastern Europe. Title List

LexisNexis Academic
Company reports from a variety of public and commercial report publishers. To view company reports, click Business in the left column, then select links under the Company Information category.

Mergent Online
Reports on 11,000 U.S. public companies and 17,000 non-U.S. companies. Includes SEC filings and annual reports to stockholders. Coverage: SEC filings from 1993 to present. Annual Reports from 1997 to present.

Mintel Reports
Mintel provides 750 current U.S. And international market reports. Information about a company's market strategy is found in the "Retail Distribution" section of each Mintel Reports.

Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage
Standard & Poor's publications in electronic format including S&P Industry Surveys, Corporation Records, Dividend Record, Earnings Guide, Mutual Fund Reports, Stock Guide, and Stock Reports.

Company Information in Trade Journals and Newspapers

Company researchers should also review trade journal articles for information about public and private companies. Use articles for in-depth company analysis or to bring your company research up to date.
