Filter the S&P Stock Reports or the Register of Public Companies. Click the Companies tab at the top of the screen, then select a S&P publication from the Advanced Search drop-down menu.

Mergent Online
Sort 11,000 public company reports by location, size, industry, balance sheet financials, or financial ratios. Click the green Advanced Search tab.

To study companies within an industry context, click the Company icon, and then search by industry code or keyword to create lists of companies.

Mergent Online
Mergent provides annual reports (1997-) and SEC Filing (1993-). Retrieve the President's Letter to Shareholders from the Annual Report. Review Form 10K - Item 1 (Business Operations) and Item 7 (Management Discussion).

Hoover's Company Capsules
Capsule reports on more than 13,500 public and private companies. Provides quick fact sheets on products, competitors, and sales. Includes brief comments on current strategy and performance.

Mintel Reports
The Mintel database provides 750 current market reports. Reports focus on market drivers, market size and trends, market segmentation, supply structure, advertising, retail distribution, consumer profile, and market forecast.

Journal articles from 1,000 trade journals, 1980 to present. Search by company name to locate the company subject heading. Click Narrow by Subdivision to view articles in categories.

Wall Street Journal
Wall Street Journal archive with multiple indexes and up to 75 word abstracts, 1984 to present. For company searches, select Company/Org from the drop-down menu.

Biography Resource Center
Over 350,000 biographies from 80 respected biography publishers. Profile of current and past business leaders. Includes thumbnail profiles, longer essays, and biographical magazine articles.

LexisNexis Academic
US and foreign daily newspapers, trade publications, newsletters, news wires, radio/TV news transcripts, company financial reports, polls and surveys, state and country profiles, state and federal laws, and court decisions.
