Communication Research Guide NetLibraryNetLibrary is an online, full-text book service. Although this e-book collection contains many excellent titles and is convenient to use, it is not nearly as extensive as the Library's print holdings. E-books are not yet available on all topics. Access to NetLibrary from off-campus is restricted to UMass Amherst students, faculty and staff with an OIT account. First-time users must set up an account. In NetLibrary, select "Create an account," and then provide a username and password. Thereafter, you can connect from anywhere. Type your subject in the "Subject" line, then click "Search." You can also search by the title or author of the book. Selected NetLibrary E-books on communication follow. Election Polls, the News Media, and Democracy [electronic resource] Finding E-books Through the Library CatalogIn addition to searching NetLibrary, find e-books through the Library Catalog by selecting "Online Resources" twice. Selected E-books useful for communication follow. International Encyclopedia of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Oxford English Dictionary
