Call Numbers
Materials
in the Library are arranged according to the Library of Congress classification
system. Each item in the Library is given a unique identifier--a string
of specific letters and numbers based on the subject. View
an example of how to read a call number.
Information
on communication can be found primarily in the 'P91' call number area.
As an interdisciplinary
field, however, material relevant to communication can be found in other
areas as well, like sociology at 'HM,' political science at 'JK,' psychology
at 'BF,' and satellite broadcasting technology at 'TK'. See the Library
Directory for a directory of stack floors and call numbers.
