Books - Higher Education

A. Search for books from UMass Library Catalog at http://www.library.umass.edu/cgi-bin/aka/babel.cgi?dokma=http://umlibr.library.umass.edu/

Subject Heading Searches: Here are some sample subject searches on this topic. You can Search by Subject to see lists of library owned material on a topic.

For example: Affirmative Action Programs; Education Higher; Minorities Education Higher ; Higher Education and State; Universities and Colleges

Tip: After you have entered a search Limit the search and select from the options.

Keyword Options: It is also possible to search by keyword to combine various terms.
For example: higher and policy - to retrieve any records containing the words higher (as in higher education) and policy. student affairs (higher or universit*) - to retrieve records about student affairs in universities or institutions of higher education); affirmative action (more results than with a subject search, but perhaps not as focused); Universities and Colleges and affirmative.
