    Homework Helper  There doesn't appear to be a search engine for this site, but there is a front page full of 

    ready-reference useful to kids (information on the 50 state capitals, US presidents, current events, science projects, etc.) Below that there's a directory of useful homework sites broken out by subject and grade (the site is oriented for K-12.) Useful for kids doing homework, very useful for librarians hassled by kids doing homework. 

    K-12 Sources/Curriculum/Lesson Plans An extensive listing of sites dealing with K-12 curriculum resources; many provide teaching activity ideas. 

    Kids Connect Favorite web sites for K-12 (from the American Association of of School Librarians.

    Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators Noted as one of the best Education sites available.
