• To restrict to a type of research try typing in that type of research with another term.  For example  "action research and reading and elementary education"  or "qualitative research and feminism".

• In many scholarly databases, such as ERIC, PsycInfo and Sociological Abstracts, you can limit your research to research reports.  Always check the limit features in a database.

• ScienceDirect (formerly IDEAL) Full-text scholarly journals from the sciences, including the social sciences, published within the last five years.
