The Official UK Statistics Site, this searchable site provides vital
statistics, census, economic, employment data, health, crime, education,
and much more.
- OECD Education Database The
Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development has created
this database of "internationally comparable data on key aspects of
the education systems," including information on educational finance,
enrollment, and professional personnel. Click on Statistics
Note that many of the links refer to publications. The right hand
table, however does include downloadable files.

- Statistical
Databases: an excellent page filled with links to educational

The International Bureau of Education has created this database of

and Secondary Education - Digest of Education Statistics This
chapter contains a variety of statistics on public and private elementary
and secondary education. Data are presented for enrollments, teachers,
schools, student performance, graduates, and expenditures. These data
are derived from surveys conducted by the National Center for Education
Statistics (NCES) and other public and private organizations. The
variety of information ranges from simple counts of students and schools
to opinions of teachers and students concerning the state of education
today.
