Department The University of Massachusetts English Department is a nationally recognized institution that includes a Macarthur Fellow, National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize winners, as well as the Chancellor's Medal for Distinguished Service and prestigious fellowships such as the Guggenheim, Woodrow Wilson, and ACLS. It is one of many programs under the University's College of Humanities and Fine Arts.
