The Government Documents Collection (Floor 6, W.E.B. Du Bois Library) houses publications from the federal government and the Massachusetts state government. The Library Catalog lists Government Documents from 1976 to the present.

Geosciences - National Science Foundation
Supports research, education, and infrastructure to advance the state of knowledge about Earth, including its atmosphere, continents, oceans, interior. Most NSF Programs in the geosciences are funded through the Directorate for Geosciences.

GrayLit Network
Science portal of technical reports. Participating agencies include Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, and NASA.

National Climatic Data Center
World's largest active archive of weather data.

National Geophysical Data Center
Provides scientific stewardship, products, and services for geophysical data describing the sea floor, solid earth, and solar-terrestrial environment, including Earth observations from space.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Research
Mission - To understand and predict changes in the Earth's environment and conserve and manage coastal and marine resources. Links to internal and external labs.

Science.Gov
Gateway to authoritative selected science information provided by U.S. Government agencies, including research and development results.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Mission of the Environmental Protection Agency is to protect human health and the environment. Site includes browse topics and quick finder.

U.S. Geological Survey
Federal source for science information about the Earth, its natural and living resources, natural hazards, and the environment. Exceptional collection of interactive services. Includes alphabetical index, links to jobs, and the USGS Library.
