E-books

Although some government documents still arrive in paper, government agencies increasingly provide government documents in electronic format.

For quick access to electronic documents, go directly to the Web site of the government agency and select its "publications" link, which takes you to a catalog of that agency's documents available in paper and electronic formats.

The Library Catalog provides links to government e-books.  As of Oct. 2007 there were over 18,000 government e-books in the Library Catalog.

Finding E-books Through the Library Catalog
