Electronic Books

NetLibrary

NetLibrary is an online, full-text book service. Please note that although this e-book collection contains many excellent titles and is convenient to use, it is not as extensive as the Library's print holdings. E-Books are not yet available on all topics.

Access to NetLibrary from off-campus is restricted to UMass Amherst students, faculty, and staff with an OIT account. First-time users must be on campus and once at NetLibrary should select "Create an account," and select a username and password. Thereafter, you can connect from anywhere.

Type your subject in the subject line, then click "Search." You can also search by the title or author of the book.

Finding E-Books Through the Library Catalog

In addition to searching NetLibrary, find e-books through the Library Catalog by selecting "Online Resources" twice. Conduct a subject, title, or keyword search.
