Bureau of Labor Statistics 
An agency of the Department of Labor that is the major repository for federal, state, and some local labor and employment statistics online.  Find statistics on occupations, industries, wages, an array of labor related topics and demographics. 

Department of Labor
Federal agency that oversees laws and regulations related to labor and employment.  Produces reports and statistics related to labor in the United States.  The Department includes other major agencies such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employment Standards Administration, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Women's Bureau to name a few.

Employment Standards Administration
Responsible for the welfare and protection of rights of American workers. Information on labor laws and regulations, employment and labor statistics, health, and occupations in addition to many other labor and employment related topics.

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
Provides information on a wide variety of information on employment discrimination, filing charges, statistics, publications, litigation, and more.

National Labor Relations Board
Independent federal agency administers the National Labor Relations Act, the primary law governing relations between unions and employers in the private sector. Contains Board and ALJ decisions, rules and regulations, annual and election reports.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration
Assures the safety and health of America's workers by setting and enforcing standards; providing training, outreach, and education; establishing partnerships; and encouraging continual improvement in workplace safety and health.  Web page contains compliance information, laws and regulations, enforcement, federal and state programs, and statistics.

Information, reports, and statistics on women in the workforce, economic inequality and conditions, globalizatiion, and work experiences.

Women's Bureau
Mission is to improve the status and working conditions of wage-earning women. Find facts, reports, and statistics related to women in the work force.

Issued annually covering number of establishments, employees, annual wages at national, state, and county levels.  Industries arranged by NAICS industry codes from 1998.  Before 1998 SIC codes are used.

Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations  (Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division)
Wage determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon and related Acts. The Wage and Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor determines prevailing wage rates to be paid on federally funded or assisted construction projects.

Monthly estimates of employment, hours, and earnings by industry for the Commonwealth and the ten Metropolitan Statistical Areas.

Department of Labor
Ensures the efficient operation of agencies, which promote harmonious relations between employers and employees and the general welfare of workers. The Department consists of five state agencies: The Department of Industrial Accidents, the Division of Occupational Safety, the Board of Conciliation and Arbitration, the Labor Relations Commission, and the Joint Labor Management Committee for Municipal Police and Fire.
