Latin American Studies Research Guide NetLibraryNetLibrary is an online, full-text book service. Although this e-book collection contains many excellent titles and is convenient to use, it is not nearly as extensive as the Library's print holdings. E-books are not yet available on all topics. Off-campus access to NetLibrary is available to UMass Amherst students, faculty, staff, and affiliates through their OIT account. Enter your OIT username and password when prompted. First-time users must set up an account. In NetLibrary, select "Create an account," and then provide a username and password. Thereafter, connect from anywhere. Type your subject in the "Subject" line, then click "Search." You can also search by the title or author of the book. Finding E-Books Through the Library Catalog In addition to searching NetLibrary, find e-books through the Library Catalog by selecting "Online Resources" twice. Selected E-books on Latin American Studies follow. Casas, Bartólome de la, 1474-1566. An account of the first voyages and discoveries made by the Spaniards in America. Haslip-Viera, Gabriel. Crime and Punishment in Late Colonial Mexico City, 1692-1810. Unheard Voices From the Border: A Report on Environmental Justice in the U.S.-Mexico Region From the Past to the Future. Winddance
