How to Find:
ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS BY CITATION

FEDERAL

CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS

Westlaw Campus Research
Click on the Law tab at the top of the page.  Under Shortcuts and Find in the upper left hand corner, enter the citation of the regulation in the top box, e.g. 42cfr124.501. Click on Go.

GPO Access
Under Database Features, click on Retrieve by Citation . Using the example 42 C.F.R. 124.501, enter 42 in the Title box, enter 124 in the Part box and enter 501 in the
top box, enter the title number, i.e. 42 and select Cite from the drop down menu to the right of the top box. In the second box, enter the section number, i.e. 124.501 and select Cite from the drop down menu to the right of the second box. Click Search.

Code of Federal Regulations
KF70.A3 1949, (5th floor, shelf number 3)
One may find a regulation in the Code of Federal Regulations, using the example 42 C.F. R. §124.501, by locating the volume containing 42 and covering §124.501.

FEDERAL REGISTER

Westlaw Campus Research
Click on the Law tab at the top of the page.  Under Shortcuts and Find in the upper left hand corner, enter the citation of the regulation in the top box, e.g. 44fr29375. Click Go.

GPO Access
Under Database Features, click on Retrieve an FR Page. Select the appropriate Federal Register volume, enter the first page number and click Submit.
