Search for books, journals, and other materials by author, title, subject, keyword, call number, journal title, etc. For materials on a specific subject, enter your term(s) as a Subject. If you don't know the Library of Congress subject heading for your topic, use keywords or consult Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) (Z695.L695+) located near the Reference Desk.  Some examples of relevant subject headings in legal studies follow.

Find Library Materials by Call Numbers

The Library Catalog provides a call number for each item. The call number consists of an alpha numeric string based on the Library of Congress Classification System. View an example of how to read a call number. Information on legal studies can be found primarily in the "K" call number area. The "Ks" are currently shelved on Floor 5 of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library. Specific topics and locations follow."
