typical late Romantic syncopations and accompanimental devices; does

Summary: Well-constructed, condensed and dramatic setting of
poem. Perhaps somewhat overwrought, but typical of era. Could be
quite effective, especially when balanced with more lyrical settings.
Typical late-Romantic chromaticism, continually modulating.
