Finding Reference Materials
There are a number of public policy and administration sources located in the Reference Department's collection on the Main Floor of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library (one floor below the Entry Floor). A few particularly useful ones are listed here. Note: This listing is not exhaustive.

Federal Regulatory Directory. (Annual). Washington: Congressional Quarterly Inc. UM/Ref. JK901.F34 Includes profiles of regulatory agencies containing websites, address and telephone numbers, history, powers and authority, brief biographies and photographs of agency officials.
The Municipal Year Book. (Annual). Washington: International City Management Association. UM/Ref. JS342.M96 Provides local government officials with information on local government management through essays describing data collected by the Association, as well as extensive tables and directories pertaining to many aspects of municipal governments in the United States.
The United States Government Manual. (Annual). Washington: G.P.O. UM/Ref. JK421.A3 and online The official organization handbook of the federal government includes information on the agencies of the legislative, judicial and executive branches, international organizations in which the U.S. participates, and relevant boards, commissions and committees.

Provides article citations and full text of selected periodicals.
