Audio/Video (Media) Materials

To find materials in the Media Collection of the UMass Amherst Libraries, conduct an Advanced Search in the UMass Amherst Libraries Catalog by author, title, subject, or keyword, choosing a Format (DVDs, VHS, CDs, etc.) under Limits.

To search for media at Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges, conduct searches by author, title, subject, or keyword to find DVDs/Videos/Films or Scores/Recordings in the Five Colleges Libraries Catalog.

National Archives and Records Administration (NARA): ARC Basic Search
"The Archival Research Catalog (ARC) is the online catalog of NARA's nationwide holdings in the Washington, DC, area, Regional Archives and Presidential Libraries." Choose from the list under "Type of Archival Materials" to limit your search to "Moving Images," "Photographs and Other Graphic Materials," or "Sound Recordings."
