The Libraries have purchased the Caribbean Newspapers, 1718-1876 archive from Readex. With 66 newspaper titles from 22 islands published between 1718-1876, this archive provides history of the Atlantic slave trade, Colonial history and New World slavery.

The Libraries have purchased the Japan Times Archive. The database includes digitized issues of The Japan Times, The Japan Advertiser, The Japan Times & Mail, The Japan Times and Advertiser (Morning ed.), Japan Times and Advertiser (Evening ed.) and the Nippon Times since March 22nd, 1897.

New Archival Collection

Human sexuality

The Libraries have purchased the "Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity. LBGTQ History and Culture since 1940" from Gale Publishing. The archive is an extensive collection of historical records, newspapers, government publications, reports, etc. covering personal experiences, policies, activism, gay rights, health and the worldwide impact of AIDS and much more. Documents span from 1940 to 2014, with the bulk from 1950 to 1990.
