Here are the simple step by step instructions for updating a MARC record in OCLC and overlaying the corresponding record in Aleph with the new and improved version.

  *   Search for title

  *   Click on the title or on edit record to the right

  *   Make your edits to the record

  *   Click on the “Save” drop down menu then choose “Replace WorldCat record”

  *   Click on the “Record” drop down menu then choose then “Send to local system (via TCP/IP)”
