+**Background on the process:**
+All dissertations are submitted through Proquest.  They are then added to ScholarWorks@ UMass Amherst via a feed that gets delivered to Bepress Digital Commons (the system that runs ScholarWorks) on the 15th of each month.  The feed contains links to all of our dissertations (both Open Access and Campus Access) in the Proquest Dissertations and Theses database.
+Open access dissertation files are also separately delivered to UMass Amherst Library servers by Proquest.  ScholarWorks student workers then upload the Open Access dissertation files to the Open Access Dissertations series on ScholarWorks.
