-Step 2: Add an Internal note: “Lost and replaced by patron [date, initials].” ​

-Step 3: Create a new item record for the replacement copy.

-Step 4:  Update the copy number. ​

-Step 5: Add the following internal note: “Replacement copy [date, initals].”  ​

-Step 6: Code the Statistic as a gift: 02. 
- 
-Step 7: Check the OPAC to confirm that the item now appears “available.”

-Step 8: End process the replacement copy.

-End of process: Put replacement copy on a circulation truck. ​
