-**__Monographs to be located temporarily in Phys Sci Reserve__**

-Phys Sci Library occasionally orders titles that, due to their subject matter, might receive heavy usage. In order to make them more available to a larger number of patrons, they temporarily house them in their Perm Reserve area. These items, when ordered, will have a location of “uap” (Cat to Phys Sci) but will carry either of the following internal notes:

-**Cat to Phys Sci; Hold for Phys Sci Perm Reserve** - For items they know are needed rather quickly and which we should treat as rushes.

-**Cat to Phys Sci; Notify Phys Sci Perm Reserve** - For items they think might get heavy usage which we should treat as regular orders.

-Since our shelflist cards won’t print the location PHYS SCI PERM RESERVE and since these items are only housed in that location for approximately two years and transferring them requires new shelflist cards to be printed once they are returned to the Phys Sci stacks, they are cataloged to PHYS SCI and our III item records are annotated by a staff member at Phys Sci to show where they are while in the Reserve area.
