-(Replacements) Withdrawn Books that are Returned__
 Replacements at SEL mostly occur when a patron has lost a book.
-If a patron brings in a replacement book in lieu of paying for the book, Karen Markham will confer with Marcelle Lipke Marcelle will communicate back to Karen to let her know that a problem has been received and when to expect the fix. Meghan Bergin is the resource person for both Marcelle or Karen for any difficulties or special situations/problems.

-If a patron pays for a replacement copy, the book will be ordered in IRM Acquisitions and will go to Susan Pease for processing. Susan will follow her normal procedures for replacements, and send the book to Karen at SEL, noting that it is a replacement.
- If a book has been missing and has not been withdrawn, Karen Markham will either remove the missing code or send the book to Marcelle Lipke to reinstate. Karen will determine which is most appropriate, depending upon the situation.  Marcelle will return any books received to Karen. Any withdrawn books be treated as outlined above under "Books to Be Withdrawn."
