Giving to the Libraries
UMass Amherst Libraries are generously supported by alumni, faculty, staff, friends, and students.
You can make the broadest impact with your giving by supporting the most visited place on campus. When you support the Libraries, each dollar increases students’ access to knowledge. You enable the Libraries to renew learning spaces, set trends in technology, and deliver the richest resources to our students and to the Commonwealth.
Our current top fundraising priorities include
The W. E. B. Du Bois Center, to promote social justice in the legacy of Du Bois
The Open Education Fund, to reduce high textbook costs directly lowering cost to students
The Robert S. Cox Special Collections Fund, to support projects and initiatives vital to Special Collections & University Archives.
We thank you—because of your philanthropy, UMass Amherst has a great Library.
