Libraries Seeking Student Artists for Spring 2027 Exhibit: Student Art & Science

The UMass Amherst Libraries are seeking student artists to contribute to the upcoming Spring 2027 exhibit, “Student Art & Science.” The exhibit will run from February 2 through May 23, 2027 in the Science and Engineering Library (SEL), with a reception on Wednesday, February 24, 4-6 p.m.

Students who wish to participate will receive a 4 x 4″ canvas and an information sheet to be completed and returned to the SEL information desk by December 18, 2026. The prompt is “Science! What does science mean to you? How does science inspire you? How do art and science coexist? How can they speak through each other?”
