Answers should all be YES or NA for record to meet quality standards
**Fixed fields E-books:**
Yes/No Fixed field form type = BOOKS
Yes/No BLvl Bibliographic Level = ‘m’ for monograph
Yes/No Form = ‘o’ for online or ‘s’ for electronic resource
Yes/No Desc = either ‘i’ for RDA or ‘a’ for AACR2
**Fixed fields E-journals:**
Yes/No Fixed field form type = CONTINUING RESOURCES
Yes/No BLvl Bibliographic Level = ‘s’ for serial
Yes/No Form = ‘o’ for online or ‘s’ for electronic resource
Yes/No Desc = either ‘i’ for RDA or ‘a’ for AACR2

Yes/No/NA If an author is named in 245 $c, either a 1XX or 7XX field must be present in the record for the author
Search OCLC for a better record if record is not up to FASTCAT standards. If better record is not available on OCLC, pass on to Meghan for cataloging.
