Mass Docs Cataloging Procedures

Mass Docs will be cataloged to the basement.

Use the Mass doc number that is written on the item, because these will be stored in the basement. Do NOT assign an LC call number.

For the item records:

Sublibrary: UMDUB

Collection: UDMAS FOR UM Mass Docs STORAGE

Call number type: 8 for other call number scheme

Item status: 27 for basement storage

Item process status: blank
